Designer Profile

Patrick is a senior designer with J. Baker Interiors, LLC and has over twenty five years of interior design experience. Residential projects have taken him across the mid-west and a vacation home on Grand Cayman Island.
Sustainability has been a practice of the firm before it was the catch phrase of current times. Natural materials, local manufacturers and use of items in clients inventory have been a high priority of this interior designer.
The legal recognition of the interior design practice is another important issue to Patrick; he is currently serving as president of IIDC (Indiana Interior Design Coalition) and was very active in the passing of the Indiana Registry for interior designers that was signed into law in the summer of 2009.

He is the Financial Director for ASID Indiana for fiscal years 2009 - 2011 and he has served on the national board of directors for the Society and is currently seated on the Education and Training Advisory Council(ETAC).

Awards & Publications

Numerous awards for both interior design and for service to the interior design profession on the state and society levels.
The latest design award was for the Indiana Excellence in Design Awards -Residential over 3,000 S/F - First Place, which was received in the spring of 2010.

I was named a Distinguished Hoosier by Governor Daniels for my work on the Indiana Governor's Residence which our firm and Evaline Karges Interiors colaborated on in 2005 - 2006.
